Emma is a Senior Transport Planner at WSP, specialising in microsimulation traffic modelling and local network analysis. She uses PTV Vissim / PCMOVA and Aimsun Next to help develop design solutions for a range of environments, including urban areas with complex interactions between private vehicles, active modes, public transport and goods vehicles. Emma is keen to explore the potential for deploying CAVs within this context, focussing on safe interactions with pedestrians and cyclists, communication with roadside infrastructure and impact on emissions.
